Ingredients
Scale
Crust
- 2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
Cream Cheese Spread
- 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried dill or Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Vegetable Toppings
- 1/2 cup shredded carrots
- 1/2 cup diced bell peppers (red, yellow, or green)
- 1/2 cup diced cucumbers (seeded)
- 1/4 cup sliced cherry tomatoes
- 1/4 cup chopped broccoli florets
- 2 tablespoons chopped red onion
Optional Toppings
- 1/4 cup black olives (sliced)
- 2 tablespoons capers
- 1/4 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or Parmesan)
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh herbs (parsley, basil, or cilantro)
- 1/4 teaspoon red chili flakes (for a spicy kick)
Instructions
- Preheat and Prepare the Crust: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking sheet or line it with parchment paper. Roll out the crescent dough and press the seams together to create a smooth, even layer on the baking sheet.
- Bake the Crust: Bake the crust for 10–12 minutes, or until golden brown. Once baked, allow the crust to cool completely before proceeding to the next step.
- Make the Cream Cheese Mixture: In a medium mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, garlic powder, dried dill or Italian seasoning, onion powder, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
- Blend the Spread: Use a hand mixer or whisk to blend the ingredients until smooth and creamy. Adjust seasoning to taste for a balanced flavor.
- Prepare the Vegetables: Wash and dry all vegetables thoroughly. Dice, chop, or shred the vegetables into small, uniform pieces to ensure every bite is flavorful and colorful.
- Assemble the Pizza: Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the cooled crust, leaving a small border around the edges for a clean presentation.
- Add the Vegetable Toppings: Arrange the prepared vegetables in a single, even layer on top of the cream cheese spread. Customize with optional toppings like black olives, capers, shredded cheese, fresh herbs, or red chili flakes to your preference.
- Chill and Serve: For best results, chill the assembled pizza in the refrigerator for 20–30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld and the crust to firm up.
Notes
- Make sure to let the crescent roll crust cool completely before spreading the cream cheese mixture to prevent melting.
- Vegetables can be swapped or added according to preference or seasonal availability.
- For a spicier option, sprinkle red chili flakes or add jalapeños among the toppings.
- This pizza is best served chilled but can be stored covered in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
- Use a sharp knife to cut the pizza into squares or triangles for easy serving and sharing.
