Description

This Easy Crockpot Ravioli Lasagna is a comforting and delicious one-pot meal that layers frozen cheese ravioli with savory ground beef, marinara sauce, and melted cheeses. Perfect for busy weeknights, it uses a slow cooker to meld flavors together and deliver a cheesy, hearty Italian-American classic with minimal effort.

Ingredients

Scale

Meat Sauce

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 jar (24 oz) marinara or pasta sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Main Ingredients

  • 1 bag (25 oz) frozen cheese ravioli
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the Ground Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned and cooked through, about 7–8 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
  2. Prepare the Meat Sauce: Stir in the marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper into the cooked beef. Simmer for 2–3 minutes, then remove from heat.
  3. Layer Ingredients in Crockpot: Spray the inside of a 6-quart crockpot with nonstick cooking spray. Spread a thin layer of meat sauce on the bottom of the crockpot. Add a single layer of frozen ravioli, followed by more meat sauce, then a layer of mozzarella cheese. Repeat layers until all ingredients are used, ending with sauce and a generous sprinkle of mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
  4. Cook in Slow Cooker: Cover and cook on LOW for 4–5 hours or on HIGH for 2.5–3 hours, until hot and bubbly and the ravioli are cooked through.
  5. Rest and Garnish: Let the lasagna rest for 10 minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired for a fresh finish.

Notes

  • You can substitute frozen beef or spinach ravioli for variety.
  • Add a layer of ricotta cheese between ravioli layers for a more traditional lasagna flavor.
