Ingredients
Scale
Meat Sauce
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 jar (24 oz) marinara or pasta sauce
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Main Ingredients
- 1 bag (25 oz) frozen cheese ravioli
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the Ground Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned and cooked through, about 7–8 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
- Prepare the Meat Sauce: Stir in the marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper into the cooked beef. Simmer for 2–3 minutes, then remove from heat.
- Layer Ingredients in Crockpot: Spray the inside of a 6-quart crockpot with nonstick cooking spray. Spread a thin layer of meat sauce on the bottom of the crockpot. Add a single layer of frozen ravioli, followed by more meat sauce, then a layer of mozzarella cheese. Repeat layers until all ingredients are used, ending with sauce and a generous sprinkle of mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
- Cook in Slow Cooker: Cover and cook on LOW for 4–5 hours or on HIGH for 2.5–3 hours, until hot and bubbly and the ravioli are cooked through.
- Rest and Garnish: Let the lasagna rest for 10 minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired for a fresh finish.
Notes
- You can substitute frozen beef or spinach ravioli for variety.
- Add a layer of ricotta cheese between ravioli layers for a more traditional lasagna flavor.
