Description

Cheese Bites:

  • 8 ounces mozzarella cheese (cut into 1-inch cubes)

Breading:

  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs (beaten)
  • 1 cup Italian-style breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

For Frying:

  • Vegetable oil (for frying)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Cheese: Place the cheese cubes on a baking sheet and freeze for 20–30 minutes to help them hold their shape while frying.
  2. Set Up Breading Station: Prepare three shallow bowls with flour, beaten eggs, and a mixture of breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic powder, and oregano.
  3. Coat the Cheese: Dredge each cheese cube in flour, dip into the egg, and coat with the breadcrumb mixture. Freeze coated cheese bites for an additional 10–15 minutes.
  4. Fry the Cheese: Heat vegetable oil in a skillet to 350°F. Fry cheese bites in batches for 1–2 minutes until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
  5. Serve: Enjoy hot with marinara or ranch dipping sauce.
