Description

A refreshing and easy-to-make iced apple green tea that combines the subtle flavors of green tea with crisp apple juice, lightly sweetened with honey and served chilled with optional garnishes of apple slices and mint leaves.

Ingredients

Scale

Tea Base

  • 2 green tea bags
  • 2 cups hot water

Mix-ins and Garnish

  • 1 cup apple juice (preferably fresh or 100% pure)
  • 1 tbsp honey (optional, for added sweetness)
  • Ice cubes
  • Apple slices for garnish (optional)
  • Mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Steep the Tea: Bring 2 cups of water to a boil, then remove from heat. Add the green tea bags and steep for about 3–5 minutes, depending on how strong you prefer your tea.
  2. Cool the Tea: Remove the tea bags and allow the tea to cool to room temperature, or place it in the fridge to speed up the cooling process.
  3. Mix Ingredients: Once cooled, stir in the apple juice and honey if using. Taste and adjust sweetness by adding more honey if desired.
  4. Serve Over Ice: Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the iced apple green tea over the ice to chill the drink thoroughly.
  5. Garnish and Enjoy: Optionally decorate with apple slices and fresh mint leaves. Serve immediately and enjoy the refreshing beverage.

Notes

  • Use freshly brewed green tea for the best flavor.
  • Adjust the steeping time of the tea to control the strength.
  • Honey is optional and can be substituted with other sweeteners like agave or sugar.
  • Chill the tea completely before mixing with ice to avoid dilution.
  • Garnishes are optional but add a nice visual and flavor touch.
