- ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
- ⅛ teaspoon ground cloves
- pinch of salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Combine Ingredients: In a medium saucepan, combine the pumpkin purée, maple syrup, apple cider, brown sugar, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, cloves, and salt. Stir well to combine.
- Simmer: Place the saucepan over medium heat and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer, stirring frequently. Reduce the heat to low and cook for 20 to 25 minutes, stirring often, until thickened and glossy.
- Add Vanilla: Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract. Let cool completely, then transfer to a clean jar or airtight container. Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
