- 3/4 – 1 cup plain unsweetened yoghurt (or water)
- Water or milk as needed to adjust consistency

- 1/4 cup plain unsweetened yoghurt
- 1 – 2 tbsp milk, as needed
Decorations

Instructions
- Prepare the Cake Batter: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, peanut butter, oil, milk, and honey or maple syrup until smooth. Fold in the grated carrots, flour, and baking soda to create a thick, even batter.
- Bake the Cake Layers: Divide the batter evenly into four greased cake pans. Bake for about 30-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow the layers to cool completely before assembling.
- Prepare the Potato Layer: Boil the peeled potatoes in water until tender, about 15-20 minutes. Drain well and mash with yoghurt, adding milk or water as needed to reach a smooth, spreadable consistency. This will act as a creamy, dog-friendly layer between the cake layers.
- Make the Drip Icing: Mix the cornflour with yoghurt and milk to form a thick paste. Add blue food colouring until the desired shade is reached. The mixture should be thick enough to drip slowly down the sides of the cake.
- Assemble the Cake: Place the first cake layer on a serving plate, spread a layer of mashed potatoes on top. Repeat with remaining layers, finishing with a cake layer on top. Pour the coloured drip icing over the top of the cake allowing it to drip down the sides naturally.
- Decorate: Garnish the cake with silver, blue, and white edible balls, place candles, and a birthday sign as desired. Keep the cake refrigerated until serving.
