Description

This Honey Garlic Sausage Potatoes recipe is a delightful combination of savory smoked sausage, tender baby potatoes, and a sweet and tangy honey garlic glaze. Roasted to perfection, this dish is easy to make and perfect for a cozy dinner.

Ingredients

Scale

Smoked Sausage:

  • 1 pound smoked sausage, sliced into rounds

Baby Potatoes:

  • pounds baby potatoes, halved

Glaze:

  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Garnish:

  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare the glaze: In a large bowl, whisk together olive oil, honey, garlic, Dijon mustard, soy sauce, thyme, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Coat the ingredients: Add the sliced sausage and halved potatoes to the bowl and toss to coat everything evenly.
  4. Roast: Spread the mixture on a large baking sheet lined with parchment paper or foil. Roast for 30–35 minutes, stirring halfway through, until the potatoes are tender and golden brown and the sausage is caramelized.
  5. Garnish and serve: Remove from the oven and garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired. Serve hot.

Notes

  • You can use chicken sausage, turkey sausage, or kielbasa for variety.
  • For crispier potatoes, broil the dish for 2–3 minutes at the end of baking.
