Description

Jambalaya Alfredo combines the flavors of traditional jambalaya with a creamy Alfredo sauce for a delicious fusion dish. This hearty recipe features a mix of andouille sausage, chicken, and shrimp tossed with bell peppers, onions, and Cajun spices in a rich Parmesan cream sauce.

  • 12 ounces fettuccine or penne pasta
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (optional)


Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: Prepare pasta according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
  2. Sear Meats: In a large skillet, heat olive oil. Brown sausage, add chicken, cook until golden, then add shrimp until pink. Set aside.
  3. Sauté Veggies: In the same pan, cook bell peppers, onion, and garlic until softened. Add seasonings.
  4. Make the Sauce: Add butter, pour in cream, simmer, then stir in Parmesan until smooth.
  5. Combine: Add cooked pasta, meats, and sauce to the skillet. Toss to coat and heat through.
  6. Serve: Garnish with parsley and enjoy hot.
