Ingredients
Scale
Crescent Rolls
- 1 (8-oz) can crescent rolls
Filling
- 4 ounces cream cheese
- 32 slices pepperoni
Optional
- Melted butter for brushing
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silpat to prevent sticking and allow easy cleanup.
- Prepare Crescent Rolls: Open the can of crescent rolls and separate each triangle on a lightly floured surface to prevent sticking.
- Slice Cream Cheese: Use a knife to slice a thin strip of cream cheese from the short end of the block. Aim for less than 1/4 inch thickness for optimal spreadability and balance within the roll.
- Assemble Filling: Place the cream cheese slice on the fat end of each crescent roll triangle.
- Add Pepperoni: Top the cream cheese with about four slices of pepperoni, pressing them gently into the cream cheese to help them adhere.
- Roll Up: Starting at the fat end, roll the crescent dough up wrapping the cream cheese and pepperoni inside. It’s okay if some of the filling peeks out slightly.
- Bake: Arrange the rolls on the prepared baking sheet. Optionally, brush with melted butter for a richer finish. Bake at 375°F for 11-12 minutes or until the rolls turn light golden brown.
- Serve: Serve warm, optionally with Easy No-Cook Pizza Sauce for dipping.
Notes
- Ensure not to overfill rolls to avoid leakage during baking.
- Use full-fat cream cheese for best flavor and texture.
- The optional melted butter brushing adds a richer, golden finish but can be skipped for a lighter option.
- Try substituting turkey pepperoni for a leaner alternative.
- Serve these warm for best taste and texture.
