- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon garam masala
- 1 tablespoon ground cumin

- 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
Other Ingredients:
- 1 large onion (finely chopped)
- 1 can (14 oz) tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter (cubed)
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Optional: chopped cilantro for garnish, cooked basmati rice or naan for serving
Instructions
- Marinate the Chicken: Mix yogurt, lemon juice, spices, ginger, and garlic. Add chicken, coat, and refrigerate.
- Sauté Onion: Cook onion until soft. Transfer to slow cooker.
- Cook in Slow Cooker: Add marinated chicken, tomato sauce. Cook on low for 6–7 hours or high for 3–4 hours.
- Finish the Dish: Stir in cream, butter, and brown sugar. Cook for additional time. Garnish with cilantro and serve with rice or naan.
