Description

Ingredients

Chuck Roast:

3 to 4 pounds

Ranch Dressing Mix:

1 packet

Italian Dressing Mix:

1 packet

Brown Gravy Mix:

1 packet

Water:

1/2 cup

Olive Oil:

1 tablespoon (optional for searing)

Salt and Pepper:

to taste


Instructions

  1. Sear the Roast: If desired, season the roast with salt and pepper and sear it in a hot skillet with olive oil for 2–3 minutes per side to enhance flavor.
  2. Prepare the Mix: In a small bowl, whisk together the ranch dressing mix, Italian dressing mix, brown gravy mix, and water until smooth.
  3. Cook in Slow Cooker: Place the roast in the slow cooker and pour the mixture over it. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or on high for 4–5 hours, until the meat is tender and easily shreds with a fork.
