For the Brownies:
- 1 box strawberry cake mix
- 2 large eggs
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips (optional)
For the Glaze:
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1–2 tablespoons milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven and prepare pan: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- Mix batter: In a large bowl, combine strawberry cake mix, eggs, and vegetable oil until a thick batter forms. Add white chocolate chips if desired.
- Bake: Spread the batter in the pan and bake for 18–22 minutes until edges are set and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with moist crumbs.
- Cool and glaze: Let brownies cool, then mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla in a bowl to make a glaze. Drizzle over brownies and allow to set before slicing.
Notes
- For a richer strawberry flavor, you can add 1/4 cup of freeze-dried strawberry powder to the batter.
- Be careful not to overbake the brownies to prevent them from drying out.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
