Ingredients
Scale
For the Cocktail
- 1/4 cup chocolate syrup
- 1 1/2 oz. Baileys Irish Cream
- 1 1/2 oz. bourbon
- 1 oz. chocolate liqueur
- 1/2 oz. Kahlúa
- 1/2 oz. milk
- Ice, as needed
For Garnish
- Grated fresh nutmeg, for garnish
- 1 Oreo turkey (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the Glass: Drizzle the chocolate syrup inside a martini or coupe glass to create an attractive swirling design. Place the glass in the freezer to chill until ready to serve, ensuring the cocktail stays cold.
- Mix the Cocktail: In a cocktail shaker, combine Baileys Irish Cream, bourbon, chocolate liqueur, Kahlúa, and milk. Fill the shaker with ice, secure the lid, and shake vigorously for about 20 seconds until the outside of the shaker becomes frosty, indicating the mixture is well chilled.
- Strain and Garnish: Strain the chilled cocktail mixture into the prepared glass. Grate fresh nutmeg generously over the top for an aromatic finish. Optionally, garnish with an Oreo turkey for a festive touch and added visual appeal.
Notes
- The Oreo turkey garnish is optional but adds a fun, festive presentation especially suited for holiday parties.
- Chilling the glass beforehand enhances the drinking experience by keeping the cocktail colder longer.
- For a less sweet version, reduce the amount of chocolate syrup or chocolate liqueur.
- Ensure vigorous shaking for a creamy, well-mixed cocktail with proper chill.
