Description

A refreshing and healthy Watermelon Smoothie made with chilled seedless watermelon, creamy Greek or coconut yogurt, and a hint of lime. Perfect for a quick summer drink that’s naturally hydrating and lightly sweetened to taste.

Ingredients

Scale

Main Ingredients

  • 3 cups seedless watermelon, cubed and chilled
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt or coconut yogurt
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • 1–2 teaspoons honey or maple syrup (optional, to taste)
  • A few fresh mint leaves (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Ingredients: Cube and chill the seedless watermelon. Gather the yogurt, ice cubes, fresh lime juice, and sweetener if using. Have fresh mint leaves ready for garnish.
  2. Blend Smoothie: Add watermelon, yogurt, ice cubes, lime juice, and optionally honey or maple syrup into a blender. Blend on high speed for about 30–45 seconds until the mixture is smooth and frothy.
  3. Adjust Sweetness: Taste the smoothie and add more sweetener if desired. Blend briefly again to mix.
  4. Serve: Pour the smoothie into glasses. Garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired and serve immediately for a cold, refreshing drink.

Notes

  • For a dairy-free option, substitute plain Greek yogurt with coconut yogurt or omit yogurt entirely for a lighter drink.
  • Freezing the watermelon cubes ahead of time allows you to skip the ice for a thicker, colder texture.
  • Add a handful of strawberries or a banana to the blender for extra fruit flavor and nutritional boost.
